Tax Credit For Donation to LaPorte County Habitat For Humanity
Keep some of your tax dollars working for you in LaPorte County
LaPorte County Habitat for Humanity has been awarded a Neighborhood Assistance Tax
Credit that benefits donors to LaPorte County Habitat for Humanity on their Indiana
Income tax returns. Donations can be by check, cash, or property and must be made by
December 31, 2010 to be eligible for the 2010 tax year. Both individuals and businesses
are eligible. LaPorte County Habitat for Humanity is limited to $6160 in tax credits (50%
of $12320 donations) and once these are sold we can no longer offer the program.
Minimum donation is $100. Please contact the LaPorte County Habitat office at 219-324-7510
if you need additional information or wish to donate.

We are hiring a Construction Manager Assistant
Job description: Will help Construction Manager prepare job site for construction activities, sign in volunteers, and assist in preparation of materials and supplies. Non-construction activities may include working in a warehouse to arrange supplies and materials, assisting in donation pick-ups, and helping prepare materials for meetings. Hours are adjustable but most Saturdays will be required. The position will require both inside and outside work with some physical labor.
This is an AmeriCorps position requiring 900 hours from September 2010 to August 2011. It includes a stipend of $6300 in addition to an educational award and insurance. For more information or to apply please contact our office at 219-324-7510.
